FOIA Request Overview

In order to get a better understanding of how the Trump administration is using anti-Muslim prejudice to inform new policy proposals and initiatives, Muslim Advocates and Democracy Forward Foundation filed a Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”) request to the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Justice, and the FBI, seeking documents that use the phrase “radical Islam” and related terms.
