Muslims turned out in record numbers to elect Joe Biden, pushing him to victory in key battleground states like Michigan and Minnesota. Now, we expect President Biden to uphold his promise to American Muslims to address urgent issues impacting our community, in particular:

• Ending the Muslim Ban on day one of his presidency and reuniting millions of American families;
• Appointing Muslims to serve throughout the administration to ensure that we can help shape the policies that impact our daily lives;
• Stopping anti-Muslim bigotry by working across agencies and with Congress to prevent hate crimes, end religious profiling programs, and hold technology companies accountable for enabling white nationalist violence on their platforms.
