Khelil Bouarrouj is a digital communications specialist. A graduate of George Mason University (B.A.) and New York University (M.A.), Bouarrouj served as Online Content Editor at the Institute for Palestine, where he launched the online news website Palestine Square, and subsequently handled communications at the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee, Greenpeace, and Just Vision. He also spent time teaching English in Palestine at the Pioneers Baccalaureate School in Nablus. His primary interests include LGBTQ+ rights, civil rights and due process, and cultural representation. In his spare time, he loves reading history and novels, swimming, and watching mid-century films. Bouarrouj is passionate about journalism and has been writing for numerous outfits since 2008.
