FOIA Request Overview

In February 2018, Muslim Advocates submitted a Freedom of Information Act request asking for documents about the White House’s then-recently announced National Vetting Center.

President Trump announced the creation of a new National Vetting Center that would oversee the review of immigration information and immigrants across all executive branch agencies. Muslim Advocates sought information about the nature and make-up of the new Center.
