Join us at People, Power, Resilience a night of solidarity on November 3rd in New York City that centers art, advocacy and connection with community partners working to achieve lasting social change.

aja monet is a Grammy-nominated musician, poet, storyteller, and organizer born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Her poetry explores gender, race, migration, and spirituality. Her debut poetry album, when the poems do what they do, was nominated for a Grammy Best Spoken Word Poetry Album in 2024.

Nzingah Oyo is an American-born, Brooklyn-based visual artist, photographer, and curator. Her work depicts layered narratives that examine and celebrate culture, politics, and global social dynamics.
