In September 2017, the Ali family was detained in Wichita, Kansas after attempting to deposit a check at a local branch of Emprise Bank. Emprise recognizes that Mr. Ali’s check was ultimately determined to be valid and remains sorry for the events that occurred and for the pain caused to Mr. Ali and his family.
