Muslim Advocates Announces Online Day of Action to Counteract ACT for America’s Hate
Washington, DC – The following is a statement from Madihha Ahussain, special counsel for anti-Muslim bigotry at Muslim Advocates, ahead of ACT for America’s, the nation’s largest anti-Muslim hate group, online day-of action scheduled for tomorrow, September 9th:
“Act for America’s online day of action is a transparent and disgusting attempt to further the white supremacist agenda.
“But, we must learn from Charlottesville the consequence of the silence: terror, death, and destruction. This is why Muslim Advocates, alongside our allies, has organized an online day of action to CounterACT hate.
“We have already proven the power of our movement by forcing ACT off our streets and onto the internet, but we cannot allow the group to echo its message of hate across the internet. We must send a crystal-clear message that bigotry and white supremacy are intolerable.”
Muslim Advocates is a national legal advocacy and educational organization that works on the frontlines of civil rights to guarantee freedom and justice for Americans of all faiths.
