Join Muslim Advocates and the Department of Homeland Security on February 2nd for a webinar that reviews steps you can take in your community to improve the safety and security of Islamic centers and schools. We want to help keep our communities safe in the wake of increased threats and incidents.
Madihha Ahussain, Staff Attorney for the Program to Counter Anti-Muslim Hate at Muslim Advocates, will provide an overview of recent hate crimes against mosques and related law enforcement investigations. Matthew Wombacher, Operations and Planning Coordination Chief at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), will review resources from the Office of Infrastructure Protection.
We’ll close with a question and answer session to hear directly from you about what’s happening in your community. We’ll also provide details about online resources available to take back to your local Islamic centers and schools.
